Happy November Loves! Can you imagine that we only have 52 days to the end of the year? I am still wrapping my mind around it as I work on some of the goals that I had set when the year started.
I have not shared a taking stock post in a while so I figured why not have a little girls’ time and catch up? Do grab a glass of wine and enjoy! 🙂
Drinking: Prosecco and loving it! The bubbles float right up to your brain honey!
Reading: Just finished The Ghost by Danielle Steel and it was such an amazing read. If you are a sucker for love like I am, you will definitely enjoy it! Now to start on Stay with Me by Ayobami Adebayo before our bookclub meeting at the end of the month. I really hope it lives up to our expectations.
Eating: More fruits than food, especially during the day at work.
Making: It a habit to intentionally affirm and speak life into myself and my dreams.
Wanting: To host an intimate brunch mid-December. Stay tuned loves, I will be sharing all the details soon! 😉
Deciding: To stop picking at my emotional wounds, accepting them and giving them time to heal.
Wishing: That I could fly to the Coast and spend a whole week eating great food with amazing company, the ocean and sand beneath my feet.
Enjoying: Spending more time with the people I love. With FaceTime and busy schedules, it is easy to forget the importance of physically spending time with the people we care about.
Learning: That God gives to you so that He can give through you. What He has given you does not necessarily have to be material. It includes your passion, gifts, talents and strengths.
Loving: Going to work fresh-faced, particularly with this heat.
Needing: A remedy to fade dark marks and reduce hyper-pigmentation. Help, anyone?
Wearing: Shirt dresses a lot, now that the sun is out. When the weather isn’t being bi-polar, it actually gets quite hot. Nairobi truly is the city under the sun!
Desiring: To drive my own car. I wanted to say “I cannot wait” but I can. 🙂
Feeling: More content and at peace.
Praying: For strength and grace for a friend who lost his girlfriend recently.
Wondering: How to do more for others in a way that is impactful and sustainable.
Thanking: God for my inner circle. It is small, but it is all I need. Someone once told me, “When you love what you have, you have all that you need”.
Smelling: Wine. We are having a wine club downstairs at the office this lovely Friday evening. Whoop! Whoop!
Laughing: At the fact that one of my colleagues thought that Jackson Biko is white. The irony is, he has actually met Biko.
I hope you enjoyed reading this post as much as I enjoyed writing it. What have you been upto? Feel free to take stock with me either on the contact section or on my social platforms. Do have a great weekend loves! 🙂
